New Artist – Gareth Llewhellin

Gareth Llewhellin

CycleMiles is very pleased to welcome Gareth Llewhellin to our ‘Art of Cycling’ gallery of leading artists who have a passion for cycling.

Gareth has created five series of cycle racing prints, which include; Le Tour de France; Giro d’Italia; La Vuelta; The Spring Classics and iconic cycling jerseys made great by Eddy Merckx, Fausto Coppi and Tom Simpson.

Gareth produces all of his work by hand, using manual artists tools and paints. These works are then reproduced as original giclee prints on 100% cotton based, thick archival paper.

The printing quality is so high that when you look at the prints you can see the brush and roller strokes. It’s fantastic. Each print is then signed, editioned and blind-stamped by Gareth to prove its authenticity and value.

Here are examples of prints from each series.

Because the prints are printed at A3 size with white space around them, they look fantastic mounted edge to edge in a standard size A3 frame.

CycleMiles has its own picture frames made using the very best quality solid wood Arqadia mouldings. When bought together with a Gareth Llewhellin print, we will carefully frame, seal and string your print at no extra charge so that it is ready to hang. A great gift for any cycle racing fan.

Gareth’s name is one to watch out for. We think you’ll be seeing his work around a lot more.

For the future, CycleMiles has commissioned Gareth to work on an art series celebrating great women racing cyclists and classic women’s races. We can’t wait.
